It's been a hot & humid stretch with high's in the low
90's. Crops are soaking up the timely rains and heat.
We're picking the first zucchini and yellow squash of the
season. We've harvested a good part of the early crop of
cabbage but there is still a good amount in the field. All
            crops are looking excellent.
Outlook: Expecting very warm, humid weather for the next 2 days
then an easing in the humidity and temps down around 83.
Chance of showers almost every day for the next 7 days.
We are a grower, packer & shipper of quality vegetables and
vegetable transplants. We begin harvesting fresh market vegetables
in late June, early July. Fresh market sales are handled by
Karpinski Trucking & Produce, Inc., Sunbury, PA at 888-888-0127.
Sales of transplants are handled here at the farm.

Greenhouse operations typically start in March.
We seed to order rather than projecting trends.
Most popular crops are cabbage, cantaloupes, cauliflower, eggplant,
    honeydew, peppers (bell,colored,hot), tomatoes (round,roma,cherry,
grape) and watermelons. Tray sizes are typically 72, 128, 162, 288 and
338 but other sizes may be available. We also seed customer supplied
varieties when space and time allow. We grow for our own fresh market
operation so customers plants are right next to ours and are cared for as
    if they were our own.
